FABCO was established in 1979 by Eng. Badeh Saffaf in Syria. Initially founded as a market service provider, FABCO quickly evolved into a trusted leader in water engineering and infrastructure solutions. Over the years, the company has expanded its portfolio to include pumps, hydraulic systems, solar pumping solutions, ductile iron pipes, and water valves, cementing its role in advancing regional infrastructure and development.For over four decades, FABCO has delivered diverse and impactful projects for government entities, private sectors, and NGOs. Operating Water Wells Using Solar Power Energy System
in Rural Hama / Syria
FABCO, in partnership with UNICEF, equipped the Shekh Abdullah Zabadi Pumping Station with a solar power system, providing safe drinking water to over 40,000 people and 12 schools in the Southeastern Rural areas of Hama. This three-month project improved public health by reducing waterborne disease risks and supported the restoration of the local water network. It also contributed to the region’s recovery by encouraging the return of displaced communities.

Rehabilitation of Existing Drinking Water Pipeline from Zour Abo Zaid to Suran
in North Hama / Syria
FABCO, with funding from UNICEF, implemented a four-month project to provide equitable and sustainable access to clean water for 50,000 individuals, primarily women and children, in Al Suran district of Hama governorate. The initiative focused on addressing severe water shortages, improving access to potable water, and ensuring personal hygiene for the affected population.

Rehabilitation of Irrigation Systems
in Deir Ezor and Al-Raqqa / Syria
FABCO, funded by FAO, provided urgent assistance to farmers in Raqqa and Deir Ez Zor affected by the crisis and earthquake. Over 16,100 households in Alshraida, Alsalhiah, and Alhusseiniyah benefited from this 2.5-month initiative, aimed at alleviating the impact of the disaster on local agriculture and improving livelihoods.

in Idlib / Syria
FABCO, funded by Action Against Hunger (AAH), completed a four-month project to rehabilitate one of the largest water stations in rural Idlib, northern Syria. The station now provides vital water access to thousands of residents across two major villages, significantly improving their quality of life.

in Hama / Syria

The project restored the public sanitation network, improved the living environment, and reduced public health risks in the community.
Rehabilitation of 6 wells
in rural Damascus / Syria
FABCO, funded by UNICEF, delivered a four-month project to provide sustainable water services to over 50,000 residents in Modira, Bzeineh, Nashabiyeh, Deir Salman, and Jarba in East Ghouta, Rural Damascus. The initiative increased the water supply to 25 liters per person per day, reduced waterborne disease risks, and encouraged displaced populations to return to their homes, improving overall community resilience.

Providing Ductile Iron Pipes Plus Fittings And Accessories For The Balanced Pipeline
In Aleppo City / Syria
As part of the humanitarian response to the earthquake disaster, FABCO, funded by UNICEF, supplied ductile iron pipes, fittings, and accessories to the General Organization for Drinking Water in Aleppo. This three-month project replaced critical sections of the balance pipeline, restoring water services for over 700,000 residents in the city.
